Every city had her incarnation of rainbow hair for spring 2012. London had Juliens primary brights set off his future forward bad girl with her dont mess with me shades. New York gave us the Thakoon and Narciso girls. The former girl was the lovechild of Bollywood and Western Americana with her powdery pastel hair. The hair color of the latter was slightly more faded in hue.
In Paris Issey Miyakes woman brought a return to form with an exploration of womanhood. This was matched with ombre color on hair, almost graffiti sprayed-on in feel.
This crayola hair trend has been raging on for a few seasons now.

The February issue of Japanese magazine Free & Easy is devoted to dads style, another term for trad, and includes a profile on me. Two correspondents from the magazine spent several days with me documenting me and my worldly possessions to the tune of eight pages.
Previously Ive written in praise of the small wardrobe, and Im constantly purging my closet of things that seemed adequate at one point but no longer cut the mustard.
