Why:One of my favorite parts of summer is taking long evening walks. Lawn mowers buzz in the background, kids ride their bikes up and down the street, and people sit on their porches and wave hello. Its wonderful.
This is what I wore last week on an evening walk to and from dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants. I added a new pair of jorts into my rotation by cutting off an old pair of boyfriend jeans I hadnt worn in a while. I cut em a little longer to allow a rolled cuff, which I think has a more pulled together feel that frayed short shorts.
I love how the shorts look with a light weight blouse + jacket, straw hat, nude wedges and vintage style watch.
